Rhus trilobata bushes at Macedonia Spring instead of water
I've noticed that rhus trilobata grows in dry areas which get water during the earlier months of the year. Even though this plant spooks me because it looks a lot like (and is related to) poison oak, I planted a couple of these in my garden in San José, where they don't grow into dense bushes like they do here.
